As his clientele continues to grow, he aims to establish an official working canine kennel, which would include supplying dogs for law enforcement and training for canine handlers throughout the US.
SOUTHPORT, NC, August 15, 2023 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Michael Chambers has been inducted into Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.
Mr. Chambers specializes in conducting pet and K-9 training as the owner and founder of Cape Fear K9 in Southport, North Carolina. Established in 2020 after raising a retired police dog named Max, a Belgian Malinois and common breed used for law enforcement whom his parents had rescued, he sought to keep his memory alive. After his Military Service, Mr. Chambers acquired another Malinois and named him "Maximus" in his late dog's honor. Unfortunately, Maximus passed away a year later after several complications.
Despite his incredible loss, Mr. Chambers became inspired to continue working with his canine friends with the establishments of Cape Fear K9. Having grown his company exponentially since its founding, he offers a myriad of training programs from beginner through advanced stages.
Working with household pups and K-9 dogs, he offers various pet training and K-9 programs such as obedience, tracking, search and rescue handler courses, scent methods, human remains detection, and more. Additionally, Mr. Chambers offers boarding opportunities in extreme cases where more advanced training is necessary, such as those experiencing aggressive behavior or apprehensive personalities.
As Mr. Chambers continues to grow his clientele, he aims to establish an official working canine kennel, which would include supplying dogs for law enforcement and training for canine handlers throughout the country. Aside from his vested interests in his company, he is considering exploring the private security sector.
Before establishing himself in the canine dog training sector, Mr. Chambers worked in security for the U.S. Department of Energy, Duke Energy, and other similar organizations. He had considered transitioning into federal law enforcement but found his passion training dogs during K9 school.
As a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps, Mr. Chambers served as an infantry squad leader from 2013 to 2017. Following his service, he pursued an education at American Military University, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Security Management in 2019. Well-qualified in his industry, Mr. Chambers garnered certification as a patrol and detector of dog training in 2020 and as a certified detector dog handler in 2021 through the American K9 Interdiction.
Honoring his service in the military, Mr. Chambers received a U.S. Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal in 2016. Attributing much of his success to his high school education, he also notes the U.S. Marine Corps for refining his abilities and teaching him how to manage highly stressful situations.
