An expert in his field, Mr. Bolden earned a Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering from Southern University and Agricultural and Mechanical College at Baton Rouge in 1992. Subsequently, he expanded upon his professional knowledge, earning an MBA from the University of Phoenix before the turn of the century. Driven to remain abreast of changes in the field, Mr. Bolden aligns himself with several organizations, including the National Association of Black Engineers.

In addition to switching majors from international business to engineering with no prerequisites, he graduated with a career in the technical space despite not taking those types of classes.
