He integrates his vast industry experience by implementing "Smart Systems" that integrate automation and orchestration via DevOps practices into its core infrastructure. Additionally, he has lent his expertise as an adjunct professor for Metropolitan State University of Denver since 2017, utilizing his background in computer systems to train future professionals in information technology.
Prior to his current role, Mr. Ragone began his career as a networking specialist with Intronis Technologies in 2005, starting his first business in the professional audio and video space for SonicFiber LLC in 2007. During this time, he was an advisor for Swift Electrical Supply for several years starting in 2005 to connect multiple company campuses. Following this period, he joined Verizon Wireless as a product assurance and certification intern in 2009 and was promoted to a system performance engineer in 2010. He continued working with Verizon Wireless in numerous capacities, leaving the company in 2014 as a switch and data engineer to serve as a LineRate Enterprise Network Engineer with F5 Networks. He earned a promotion to a senior DevOps engineer for the Cloud in 2018 and eventually led the Cloud Engineering team in 2019 deploying new greenfield network architectures to the Cloud, eventually earning him the rank of Engineering Manager of infrastructure services in 2021.
Prior to embarking on his professional journey, Mr. Ragone earned a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Telecommunications Engineering Technology from the Rochester Institute of Technology in 2011. Well-qualified in his field, he has held many credentials including Amazon Web Services certifications, F5 Networks certifications, and has earned the rank of Eagle Scout, demonstrating strong leadership ability from a very young age.
Looking to the future, Mr. Ragone intends to take the vertical integration and automation of his company's systems to a higher level of efficiency, helping more people in rural America gain reliable Internet access that changes lives. He plans to engage in whatever collaborative efforts aid in this goal, including active partnerships with others, selling their core systems and strategies, and ultimately help positively impact as many lives with robust communications services as possible in this modern, connected era.
