After graduating, he began his corporate career as a district sales and service manager for General Motors. Over the years, Mr. Glasberg also worked as the regional account executive for PHH Corporation and as the director of new business development for Rider Travel Group.
Backed by his considerable experience, Mr. Glasberg continued to excel in the corporate world through varying executive roles with GE Capital Fleet Services, OnStar (General Motors), BMO Financial Group, HSBC Financial Corp, and the National Bank Financial Group. Throughout his career, he maintained a love of sports and a dedication to the Special Olympics movement, which led him to pursue his passion for sports later in life. By combining this passion with his leadership expertise in business, he has established three successful companies: The Coaches Agency, PBI Sports & Entertainment, and Pinnacle Business Inc.
As the chief executive officer of PBI Sports & Entertainment, Mr. Glasberg represents several prominent coaches in the NHL, NFL, NCAA, IIHF, and more. In utilizing his expertise in business and the sports industry, he works with professional sports coaches around the world, advising them on various business interests, career/leadership opportunities and personal matters. In his work as president and chief executive officer of The Coaches Agency, Mr. Glasberg leverages his 35-plus years in business working with professional sports teams, colleges and corporations in sourcing top talent to fill leadership and coaching roles within their respective organizations.
Outside of his work, Mr. Glasberg contributed his time and energy as a board member with the Special Olympics Canada Foundation, and as the former Chairman of the Board of Special Olympics Canada. Driven to remain abreast of ongoing industry changes, he has also served on many industry boards throughout his corporate career. In 2012, as a result of his outstanding body of work, he was appointed the Honorary Lieutenant Colonel of the Canadian Armed Forces Military Police Academy. The original term was meant to cover three years, however, the appointment was extended for an additional two years. In honor of this commitment, he received a plaque signed by His Excellency the Governor General of Canada on behalf of the late, Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth the Second.
