A dedicated nursing educator with more than two decades of excellence in wound care, Ms. Kietur has earned distinction as a wound care nurse and owner of Getting Well PLLC. Since 2021, she has focused her efforts on treating patients in their home, following best practice in wound care, collaborating with other agencies and provider groups. As a small business owner, she handles billing, scheduling and all office related items personally. Additionally, she has been a clinical instructor for several nursing programs, most recently Glendale Community College since 2023, teaching courses in health assessment and fundamental skills for nursing students. She is also a valued member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and the American Professional Wound Care Association.
Before establishing her company, Ms. Kietur began her career as a staff registered nurse for St. Elisabeth Krankenhaus in Germany in 2002, caring for patients with vascular diseases. After the contractual obligation ended, she served as staff nurse with St. Markusbaus in 2003, managing medication and creating a supportive environment for patients in psychiatric rehabilitation. While supporting the mission of the United States Air Force, Ms. Kietur followed her husband to his new duty station in Florida where she sat for the national board certification and became an RN. Her first position was that of a medical surgical staff registered nurse for the Santa Rosa Medical Center in 2005. During this time, she was selected to be a clinical manager for Diversified Clinical Services in 2006 - and opened two wound clinics for the company in Florida and Massachusetts. Wanting to expand her field, Ms. Kietur took a role as the manager of the subacute unit for The Highlands in 20 l 0, managing the rehabilitation unit and handling wound care for the facility while supervising and training nurses.
Ms. Kietur continued her career as a clinical nurse educator for Novasyte, LLC in 2011 and joined Smith & Nephew, Advance Wound Management in 2012 as a clinical resource coordinator. At the same time, she also was an assistant professor, simulation lab coordinator and clinical instructor for nursing courses at Bay State College from 2012 until 2016, also serving as an adjunct faculty and clinical instructor for Montachusett Regional Technical Vocational School PN, teaching safety in medication and nutrition courses from 2014 until 2017. She was also a wound care clinical for the Yuma Regional Medical Center in 2016. In 2017, she served as a clinical coordinator and manager for wound care for the Abrazo Scottsdale Campus and became a clinical instructor for Brookline College in 2019.
To prepare for her career in healthcare, Ms. Kietur earned certification as a registered nurse from Krankenpflegeschule am Clemens August Krankeohaus in Germany in 2002 and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2008. Following these achievements, she attained a Master of Science in nursing education in 2012 and a Master of Science in higher education with a certificate in online education from Kaplan University in 2015. She subsequently gained a family nurse practitioner certification from Purdue Global University in 2020. She is also certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and is wound care certified.
Looking to the future, Ms. Kietur intends to expand her business, providing more wound care education. She also plans to focus more time helping home health agencies engage in effective education and product selection, ultimately improving treatment for her patients.
