Since her husband's passing in 2006, Ms. Yde has continued to serve an instrumental role in its continued success. She oversees all operations of the organization and manages all domestic and international sales, marketing, and other responsibilities. Moreover, Ms. Yde strives to meet and exceed her clients' expectations and enjoys long-term relationships which can be rare in the entertainment business.
Prior to forming The Television Syndication Company, Cassie Yde started her career in 1973, joining Mr. Yde in a partnership that resulted in the creation of additional television programming for the major U.S. television networks and such international networks as CBC and CTV in Canada, the BBC in the United Kingdom and the SABC in South Africa. The Ydes also traveled to virtually every corner of the world to produce television series and specials for worldwide distribution.
Among her most notable accomplishments, Ms. Yde was involved in the production of the long-running E/I series, "Real Life 101." The show inspired young adults and teenagers to think about what they wanted to be when they grew up. It was on air and in syndication for 20 years. Recognizing her accomplishments, Ms. Yde was presented with a Telly Award.
She became involved in charitable work in 2006 after becoming a widow. She participated in her first mission trip to Kenya in 2015. She has since visited twice and will be helping build a medical clinic there as the board chair of the Shalom Gaitu Outreach Center. Ms. Yde is also a leader in her church, chairing the church council and serving as a lay leader.
Ms. Yde graduated with an Associate of Science in business from Lake Sumter State College in 1969. She attributes her success to her upbringing, having been raised in a home where faith and making a difference in the lives of others were strongly emphasized.
