As the successful founder of several female-owned businesses, Ms. Madison is best known for launching Stacy's Pita Chip Company in 1997. Recognized as a top natural food company that became the foundation for PepsiCo Inc.'s entry into the health and wellness industry, she sold her brand to the New York-based food, snack, and beverage corporation nearly a decade later. Ms. Madison's humble beginnings began to take shape when she started a seasonal food cart business in downtown Boston, making healthy pita sandwiches for passersby. At the end of each day, she cut up excess pita bread and baked them into pita chips in various flavors. Customers quickly flocked to her food cart, lining up to purchase her sandwiches and get free chips while they waited in line. Eventually Stacy started selling the chips and thus Stacy's Pita Chip Company was born!
Ms. Madison subsequently established Stacy's Juicebar in Needham, Massachusetts, in 2014, which she maintained for seven years. Her success in the juice sector ultimately inspired her to launch BeBOLD bars in 2020, award-winning, plant-based snack bars made with gluten-free ingredients. Her certified women-owned company has since proved quite successful, offering innovative, natural snack bars that are both healthy and tasty. Ms. Madison has also been featured in numerous articles and interviews by various media outlets, including The Boston Globe, NBC's Today Show, How I Built This with Guy Raz, The Good Life with Michele Lamoureux, Life's Accessories, and On The Homefront with Jeff Dudan.
