Mrs. Peterson is a realtor and entrepreneur who has dedicated more than 20 plus years of her career to helping prospective sellers and buyers in real estate with their move and/or purchase of their dream home. She holds an associate degree in business administration from Wyoming Community College, and in 1997 she completed a bachelor's degree in business management at the University of Wyoming College of Business. Throughout her real estate career, Mrs. Peterson has pursued numerous professional development opportunities, and became a licensed real estate agent/realtor earning her Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) designation.
Prior to launching her real estate career, Mrs. Peterson found success in retail management as a store assistant manager for Walmart, where she spent two and half years developing her customer service, logistics, and personnel leadership skills. In January 2000, she became a realtor working for ERA Carroll Realty in Sheridan, Wyoming. In January of 2004 her husband was relocated to Gillette, Wyoming for work where she joined RE/MAX Professionals. Mrs. Peterson remains with the same company as of today. Since then, she has earned a reputation for her ability to build long term client relationships, a strong referral business and a deep understanding of the communities that she serves. In addition to being a Certified Residential Specialist, Mrs. Peterson has trained in handling relocations, buyers upgrading/downsizing, first-time buyers, new builds, investment, and commercial properties among other unique purchase and listing needs.
In recognition of her commitment to excellence, Mrs. Peterson has received President Club awards, 100% Club awards, Platinum awards and a Lifetime Achievement Award for her long-term success with RE/MAX LLC Headquarters. In 2015 received the Northeast Wyoming Alliance Realtor of the Year award. She credits her success to her perseverance and resilience in the face of setbacks, but with self-confidence and a strong belief having goals are the key to growth in her real estate profession. In the coming years, she looks forward to enjoying more personal time while expanding her business based on the goals she has set with her professional business coach. Outside her work in real estate, Mrs. Peterson sits on the board of the First Interstate Bank and serves on different committees for the Northeast Wyoming Alliance Realtor Board.
