Before establishing Digital Marketing Solutions LLC, Mr. Nguyen is the owner and president of EZCheckedIn, a Google and Yelp booster application for small businesses that helps owners manage and contact their customers with SMS messaging, and EZSamaritan, a crowd fundraising platform. He also served as an adjunct professor for ITT Educational Services, Inc. from 2008 until 2013. Over the course of his career, he has authored more than 25 computer training programs, several volumes of poetry and often serves as a keynote speaker for industry events.
Also dedicated to civil advocacy, Mr. Nguyen lent his expertise as the church council president of the Vietnamese United Methodist Church and was the president of the Vietnamese American Community of Grand Rapids Michigan. Added to these, he founded the non-profit Viet Benevolence Foundation, which works to support several charitable projects, including bringing home remains of those who died in re-education camps in Vietnam.
Prior to embarking on his professional journey, Mr. Nguyen earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from the Western Michigan University Haworth College of Business in 1992. Following this achievement, he attained a master's degree in computer software engineering from Grand Valley State University in 2004.
Having experienced a life of poverty, including his parents dying during the Vietnam War before he was 5 years old, Mr. Nguyen was nonetheless able to find success after immigrating to the United States, completing high school, college and graduate school and achieving numerous accolades for his professional work. He is also proud to be a parent alongside his wife of three grown up children and twelve foster children, four of them are still living with him.
