Prior to founding PangeaAV in 2004, Mr. Winston gained invaluable experience with several key companies. As a crew supervisor, technician and camera operator with P.S.A.V and Media Visions, he mastered the foundations of lighting, audio and video upon which he has built his business.
With Pixel Productions, he served extensively as an audio-visual technician/operator as well as camera operator, gaining familiarity with hardware like the Folsom Presentation Pro, the Barco PDS 901, Roland V-HD, the Black Magic Atem and almost every brand of professional broadcast camera available.
Mr. Winston has also collaborated with Royal Productions, Across the Bridge Productions, Push Focus Media, Soho House, Marriott International, Next Big Nashville and the Tennessee Performing Arts Center, among many more.
Prior to embarking on his professional journey, Mr. Winston completed coursework in political science and philosophy at Austin Peay State University. He holds a 107a remote pilot license from the Federal Aviation Administration and has completed certifications in hybrid/virtual events, event diagramming, COVID-19 compliance, cinematography, aerial photography and mobile equipment operation. As a commitment to his field, he is a member of the National Film Endowment, Avixa, National Filmmakers Guild and Farm Bureau Association.

Their winning piece, an inspirational, one-minute clip about the future of technology that featured Mr. Winston's aerial cinematography, was selected as runner-up out of 43,000 entries worldwide. Known for his contributions as a civic-minded citizen, Mr. Winston is a builder for Habitat for Humanity International and has served as a food drive coordinator for Second Harvest Food Bank of Middle Tennessee.
