Mrs. Varney has established herself in pet care as the Vice President of Operations at Pinnacle Pets Play & Stay in Grove City, Ohio. Initially involved in building her family-owned and operated business in 2016 as a General Manager, she remained in her position for four years before being promoted again in 2021.

She was employed by the organization from 2020 to 2021, focusing on real estate and private equity investments. During an earlier stage of her career, Mrs. Varney worked in hospitality.
Having recently finished writing her first book, Mrs. Varney aims to publish it soon. The material is geared toward the younger generation and focuses on resiliency and healthy relationships.
Mrs. Varney has been active with Rotary International, is a part of the Southwestern Leadership Program, and is a committee member for the Grove City Young Professionals group. She has also given back to SPEAK! for the Unspoken, a nonprofit, foster-based rescue group that has served dogs with special needs and has organized many donation drives for various animal shelters and rescues for many years.
Mrs. Varney graduated from The Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology in 2014. She remains aware of developments in her field through annual conferences and networking through the foundation and growth of an Ohio Pet Care Providers group. She is currently enrolled in college again to study business and entrepreneurship through Columbus State Community College.
Honoring her work, Mrs. Varney received the Grove City Best Business of the Year Award in 2022 for her contributions to Pinnacle Pets Play & Stay. She also received recognition as the Team Member of the Year and the Team Member of the Quarter from Red Robin in 2012 during her years in the hospitality sector.
