With several years of excellence in project management, Ms. Hostetter has earned distinction as a project management professional in the construction sector of the mission-critical industry. Since 2022, she has worked in project engineer roles in electrical and mechanical where she has focused her efforts on project controls, where she assesses and forecasts the resources and key performance indicators to ensure the project aligns with its schedule, scope, budget, and quality benchmarks. Additionally, she has prior served as a project designer and consultant since 2019 and is a valued member of the American Bar Association, the American Society of Administrative Professionals, and the Omega Nu Lambda National Honor Society, among other professional organizations.
Prior to her current role, Ms. Hostetter began her career in an administrative role in the healthcare sector where she was nominated twice as the organization's employee of the month candidate twice and has since ventured into the construction sector. Once in the electric distribution construction sector as a Process Assistant III, she served on her organizations Southside District Safety Committee and attained her Six Sigma Black Belt and OSHA 30 Certifications. Throughout the culmination of her project management experience, she has both volunteered and worked part-time in mission-critical public safety as a firefighter, emergency vehicle operator, and nationally registered EMT.
While embarking on her professional journey, Ms. Hostetter was titled as a Student of the Month and earned her high school diploma from Park View High School with VBOE scholar designations in science, civics, and math as well as the governor designation of academic excellence. As a dual enrollment student, she received an Associate of Science in General studies from Southside Virginia Community College and transferred to Liberty University where she was twice a Dean's List recipient and a attained a Bachelor of Science in Multidisciplinary Studies with Cum Laude Honors in 2020. She was inducted into the Alpha Chapter of the Omega Nu Lambda Honors Society and graduated with her Master of Business Administration from Liberty University in 2023. Well-qualified in her field, she has completed safety and project management essential training programs and is certified in AutoCAD design fundamentals. Added to these and other credentials, she is a certified emergency medical technician and firefighter and was nominated the Robert Brian Gauldin Memorial Award recipient in 2017 for her devout volunteerism in the fire service.
She credits her success and inspiration to her grandparents. Her grandfather, Charles Hostetter, was a tradesman that dropped out of school to work on a family farm and always pushed her to attain an education that he couldn't have. Her grandmother, Margaret Gauldin, was one of the strongest woman role models in her life that taught her work ethic. Her other grandfather, Bob Wallace, is an electrician, Reverend, and bronze star recipient from Vietnam that inspired her interest in trades and guided her in pursuing God's calling for her life.
Within the coming years, Ms. Hostetter intends excel in project management roles while engaging more in her volunteerism efforts. For her professional development, she's tentatively preparing to test for her PMP certification and anticipates attaining more certifications as a safety professional. With time, she intends to continue studying business law at Liberty University or Regent University, aiming to become a business law practitioner for a project management office where she will be able to work in corporate governance.
