Having led an accomplished career in aviation since 2006, Mr. Santiago joined Banyan Air Service in 2010 as a technician and grew to becoming the company's Director of Avionics/MRO Sales focal. Among his varying responsibilities, he meets with various teams to discuss in-house aircraft, production priorities, and client scheduling requirements. He also dedicates time to attending production meetings and traveling to attend sales conferences. As an expert in avionics maintenance and technical sales, Mr. Santiago was promoted to his position after serving as Banyan's avionics manager from 2018 to 2019. He was a maintenance service manager between 2015 and 2018, a maintenance crew lead from 2010 to 2015, and a technician before that.

Mr. Santiago began his career as an aircraft technician at Gulfstream International Airline in 2006. He was subsequently hired by Southeast Turbines Corporation as a field service technician in 2007 before being acquired by Banyan Air Service.
During his impressive career in the industry, Mr. Santiago became recognized as the first in his age group to lead a team and assist with the completion of a supplemental type certificate package (STC), which typically takes 1+ years to secure through the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).
Adding to his expertise, Mr. Santiago serves on the board of directors and/or is an advisory council member for several relevant organizations, including Collins Aerospace, Aircraft Electronics Association and Gogo Business Aviation advisory council. Looking toward future success in the industry, he would consider establishing himself as a business owner in consulting or the aircraft acquisition sector.
In support of his career, Mr. Santiago graduated from Broward College in Florida with an associate degree in aviation maintenance and management in 2008. He also earned a bachelor's degree in aviation maintenance and management from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University in 2012. Furthermore, Mr. Santiago received credentials in private pilot and instrument rating from the Delta Connection Academy and other Flight Safety International OEM factory training programs.
Mr. Santiago remains aware of developments in his industry as a member of the Aircraft Electronics Association. In light of his professional achievements, he was recognized by Aircraft Maintenance Technology with its Top 40 under 40 Maintenance Professional Award, Class of 2021.
