NORWOOD, MA, September 18, 2023 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Thomas Mulcahy has been inducted into Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Renowned for his work, Mr. Mulcahy is a landscape designer, president, and owner of the Mulcahy Design Group. Overseeing all aspects of his firm, Mr. Mulcahy manages all design phases from conception through completion, including project management and administration aspects. Collaborating with other industry leaders, he strives to ensure his clients' visions come to life. Mr. Mulcahy brings over a decade of experience in the field with his most notable works including a portfolio of exterior landscape design for high-end luxury residences, estates, and resort amenity projects. He is active in his professional community as a member of the Association of Professional Landscape Designers. Looking ahead, he aims to begin exploring other high-end areas throughout New England.
Mr. Mulcahy studied landscape architecture at the University of Massachusetts Amherst and began his career in 2009 as an assistant project manager alongside his brother Kevin at their father Robert Mulcahy's landscape architecture firm Landworks Collaborative Inc. in Worcester, Massachusetts. Here Mr. Mulcahy was involved in a wide range of projects catering to urban planning and resort design. He subsequently worked as a project manager for another landscape architecture firm in Sagamore, Massachusetts, from 2016 to 2021 which focused primarily on high end residential design in Cape Cod. Mr. Mulcahy launched his own company Mulcahy Design Group in Norwood Massachusetts in 2021 during the covid pandemic. Despite starting out on his own during such a difficult time, Mr. Mulcahy was recognized in the Boston Design Guide's 2022 Cape & Island Design Guide issue. He plans to be featured in another relative magazine in 2024 for several of his latest projects.
In light of his success, recognizing his achievements, Mr. Mulcahy is grateful to his father Robert Mulcahy and Mathew Mrva for paving the way and establishing a strong foundation for understanding the built environment; also to Thom Miner for his influence and insight in design.
