Prior to this role, Mr. Gaskins was active as the vice president of creative and business strategy at BMG, where he also served as the senior manager of catalogue marketing, and the vice president of international repertoire research and marketing from 2011 until 2022.
Mr. Gaskins initially began his career working as a marketing assistant at Vibe Media LLC from 1997 to 2000, followed by a post of a synch marketing coordinator at Warner Chappell Music Inc. from 2000 until 2002. Between 2002 and 2004, he garnered expertise as an artists and repertoire manager at RCA Records for Sony Music Entertainment. Subsequently, Mr. Gaskins excelled as a senior production manager at the Chrysalis Music Group from 2004 until 2011.
Prior to embarking on his professional journey, Mr. Gaskins pursued an education at De Anza College, where he obtained an Associate of Arts in business management and marketing in 1992. Long dedicated to civic advocacy, he contributes to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, among other charities, and mentors new artists in the industry.
