After dedicating himself to the field of law for 30 years, Mr. Freidel retired from his work as an attorney at the Law Office of S. Robert Freidel. Over the years, he specialized in a wide range of legal matters, including employment discrimination law, matrimonial law, and workers' compensation law. Prior to embarking on his legal career, Mr. Freidel worked as regional trainer coordinator for CVS, where he climbed the corporate ladder while studying for his JD.
Alongside his work, Mr. Freidel has contributed to his community as the district governor of the New Jersey chapter of Lions Club International, which he aims to help reach 1.5 million members by July 2027. Through the organization, he is in the process of organizing a symposium on human trafficking. An expert in his field, he earned a Bachelor of Arts in history from Rider University in 1976. Several years later, Mr. Freidel graduated from Widener University's School of Law with a JD.
In light of his professional achievements, Mr. Freidel won three Presidential Medals through Lions Club International in 2016, 2017, and 2020, two Governor's Excellence Awards from the same organization, and was inducted into Who's Who Among American High School Students. While his career has been filled with highlights, Mr. Freidel takes the most pride in being a successful leader at Lions Club International, through which he co-hosted the Lions Flight for Sight Hot Air Balloon Festival.
Though hard work and dedication have brought him far in his career, Mr. Freidel credits his success to being self-motivated, as well as to his love of a good challenge. Looking toward the future, he intends to experience the continued growth and success of his career. Ultimately, Mr. Freidel aims to become the global membership team leader for the New Jersey Lions Multiple District 16, and to complete and publish his book about the history of the New Jersey chapter of Lions Club International.
