Prior to his current role, Mr. Onken served as a manager for Deloitte in 2000 and was the director of KfW IPEX-Bank in 2004. He continued his career with KfW IPEX-Bank as the director and Head of the London infrastructure team in 2012.
Prior to embarking on his professional journey, Mr. Onken earned a Master of Business Administration with a focus on international finance from the Texas Christian University M.J. Neeley School of Business. Following this achievement, he attained a Master of International Management in international business, trade and commerce from the Thunderbird School of Global Management in 1999. Well-qualified in his field, he has been awarded with the prestigious Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) professional designation in 2003 from the CFA Institute and he has since then been an active and contributing member of the CFA Institute.
Within the coming years, Mr. Onken intends to grow further in his profession, ensuring the bank establishes itself as a prominent lender in North America for infrastructure, energy and similar finance under his league.
