Drawing upon her expertise in residential new construction and remodeling, she collaborates closely with clients to ensure every detail of their project is on point, from flooring to tile design to exterior paint color. Ms. Saavedra-Gutierrez's fascination with interior spaces began early in life; as a child, she took an interest in her personal space, and took care in arranging her furniture and other belongings in a certain way. As an adult, she was inspired to enter the interior design field when she took on a remodeling project at her own home. Today, Ms. Saavedra-Gutierrez's interior design projects are widely acclaimed, having earned her several accolades regionally and locally including five Best Interior Decorating, and two Best Bath and Best Kitchen awards from Parade of Homes.
As a commitment to her field, Ms. Saavedra-Gutierrez is active with the American Society of Interior Designers, where she held leadership positions including chapter president, vice president and membership director, as well as the National Kitchen & Bath Association, where she previously served as chapter secretary.
Before venturing onto her vocational path, Ms. Saavedra-Gutierrez earned an associate degree in interior design from Santa Fe Community College and a bachelor's degree in university studies, with a focus on communications and journalism from the University of New Mexico. She advanced her training with a certificate in kitchen and bath design. Prior to founding Spatial Harmony in 2016, she was a Trial Court Administrative Assistant for a district court judge for 11 years.
