During the early stages of his career, Mr. Cameron gained valuable expertise in marketing and management with Merkle and Ameritech. Similarly, he taught students at William Rainey Harper College as an adjunct professor between 1990 and 2000. Alongside his work, he contributes to his community through the Association of National Advertisers' Analytics and Data Science Committee and the Boy Scouts of America. An avid Scrabble player, Mr. Cameron is also aligned with the North American Scrabble Players Association.
An expert in his field, Mr. Cameron earned a Bachelor of Science in applied mathematics and computer science from the University of Detroit Mercy and a Master of Science in applied statistics from The Ohio State University. Due to his considerable breadth of knowledge, he has authored several articles, including "Nielsen Personalizes the Mobile Shopping App" and "Why Identity Resolution is Critical to Retailer Survival." Likewise, Mr. Cameron was honored for his outstanding body of work with the Teacher of the Year Award.
While his career has been filled with standout moments, Mr. Cameron takes the most pride in developing a mobile app that personalized coupons for a Pennsylvania-based retailer. By leveraging his experience, he optimized the coupon system, which allowed the retailer to access customers' shopping history and increase coupon redemption rates. The cornerstone of his success lies in his mentors and his critical thinking skills. In the next five years, Mr. Cameron intends to help smaller companies that are usually unable to afford an executive with his level of expertise and pass on his knowledge to others as an educator.
