Since 2022, he has focused his efforts on handling OSHA requirements for the company while handling onboarding, policy development and renewal, managing personal records and maintaining a safe work environment. Prior to joining Brenk Brothers Inc., Mr. Dahmes served honorably in the United States Navy as an Aviation Electronics Technician from 2002 until 2022. Over the course of this time, he worked as a Navy Recruiter for the Navy's human resources department in South Dakota for three years. He was honored with multiple awards for his recruitment efforts and was named both Nuclear Recruiter of the Year and Diversity Recruiter of the Year. In addition, he received 6 Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medals and a Joint Service Achievement Medal while serving in the Navy.
Also dedicated to civil advocacy, Mr. Dahmes lent his expertise as a judge for several local swimming competitions while serving in the United States Navy and he has also volunteered with the Pacific Northwest Naval Air Museum. He also supports his local children's hospital and Ronald McDonald House charities.
While developing his professional journey, Mr. Dahmes earned a Bachelor of Science in human resources management and services from Columbia College in 2022. Eminently qualified in his field, he holds a succession planning certification and inclusive leadership certification from LinkedIn.
Looking to the future, Mr. Dahmes intends to complete his Society for Human Resource Management certification, allowing him to continue making significant contributions to the company's growth and reputation, striving to establish it as one of the finest companies in Minnesota.
