The book aims to inspire and provide guidance to individuals on a range of topics to help those in her generation to develop a deeper understanding of Jesus and themselves through weekly meditations. Additionally, she is the host of "The Traditional Millennial Podcast."
Likewise dedicated to civil advocacy, Dr. Dodson is the youth director, assistant choir director and co-chair of the women's ministry for her local Freedom Missionary Baptist Church. She has volunteered with Our House Shelter in Little Rock, Arkansas, the Boys and Girls Clubs of America, Operation Christmas Child and St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
Before joining the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, Dr. Dodson began her career as a staff and retail pharmacist with Walmart in 2011 and was promoted to the pharmacy manager in 2014 while serving as a co-facilitator for the company along with a group teaching over 600 healthcare employees within the company. She also led events on opioid stewardship and medication compliance and reconciliation and helped to co-pilot their "Operation Stars" program, which was designed to advance clinical services and specialized drug sales for the region. Among her professional accomplishments, she was inducted to the Rho Chi Pharmacy Honor Society and received a Pharmacist Excellence in Patient Care Award from Walmart. She was also named a Walmart Spark Team Member in 2019.
Prior to embarking on her professional journey, Dr. Dodson earned an Associate of Arts from the University of Central Arkansas and a Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in 2011. Following these achievements, she attained a Master of Arts in biblical studies from the Moody Bible Institute in 2020.
Within the coming years, Dr. Dodson intends to expand her skills as a published author. Through her written works, she aims to build a diverse portfolio that will establish herself as a reputable writer and contributor to various publications.
