Prior to obtaining her current position, she worked as a senior consultant and Chief Diversity Officer for a nationally recognized risk management consulting firm and as the assistant vice president of student engagement and diversity for Earlham College. During the early stages of her career, Dr. Reynolds gained valuable expertise in the field of diversity and education with Mount St. Joseph University, Indiana State University, Eastern Illinois University, and Ivy Tech Community College.
Alongside her work, Dr. Reynolds dedicates herself to those less fortunate through Big Brothers Big Sisters of America. Likewise, she maintains professional alignment with the American Association of Blacks in Higher Education. An expert in her field, she holds a bachelor's degree in communication and Master of Science in college student affairs from Eastern Illinois University. Subsequently, Dr. Reynolds expanded upon her professional knowledge by earning an EdD in education from Capella University.
In light of her outstanding body of work, Dr. Reynolds was named the Graduate Student of the Year at Eastern Illinois University, through which she also received a Rising Star Award. More recently, she was invited to the White House during the President Obama administration, which was a career highlight, earned the HEED Award from Insight Into Diversity, and was honored with a grant through the Department of Justice. The cornerstone of her success lies in her faith in God and her tenacity, as well as the support of her husband and family. Looking forward, Dr. Reynolds intends to make waves in the educational field so that she can smoothly transition into the political sphere.
