He continued his academic efforts at Webster University, earning a Master of Business Administration in 2004. As a commitment to his field, he was certified as a Flight Instructor and active as a member with the Air Line Pilots Association International. Likewise dedicated to civic advocacy, Mr. Vargas contributed to the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Chicago.
Among his professional accomplishments, Mr. Vargas is most proud to have completed his graduated studies, obtained his law enforcement certifications and garnered extensive expertise in conducting investigations within the police department, which later made him a valuable asset to the Chief pilot's office that oversees 350 pilots. Reflecting on his career, he attributes much of his success to his tenure with the police department and to his passion for flying. Looking toward the future, Mr. Vargas aspires to maintain his flight instructor license to train the future generation of aviators, as well as his children.
