Mr. Parker is a project manager, and owner representative with nearly three decades of expertise in the construction and building industries. His interest in the field was sparked by his father, who spent 47 years in the construction industry. Mr. Parker attended Missouri State University, graduating in 1983 with a Bachelor of Science in architectural design and construction management.
In 1996, Mr. Parker began his project management career with Save-A-Lot, where he spent the next ten years overseeing corporate store development for four East Coast divisions. In 2008, he joined CMG Inc. as a project manager for a major McDonald's remodel initiative, departing in 2012 to join Lend Lease as a project manager, followed by a large-scale corporate remodel for GNH Services, Inc., and a multifamily residential renovation project for Mills Properties, Inc. In 2014, Mr. Parker became a project manager for RSW Group, where he oversaw the construction and opening of 30 corporate properties in a four-state area in under six months.
Between 2015 and 2017, Mr. Parker was a project manager for Cushman & Wakefield overseeing initiatives for accounts including Cycle Gear and Arby's, followed by two years with EMG Corporation managing the second large-scale McDonald's store remodel of his career. Since 2019, Mr. Parker has served as an owner representative for the Lindbergh School District, where he leverages his diverse expertise in construction, design, and project management to coordinate building and renovation projects for the district's 14 schools and act as proxy for the owners onsite and in communications with vendor teams. He considers managing the four-year build process of a $95 million high school building to be the highlight of his career, and looks forward to facilitating the district's upcoming construction of three storm shelters.
In recognition of his long-standing commitment to excellence, Mr. Parker has been presented with honors including Project Manager of the Year. He credits his success to his patience, willingness to take risks, and ability to learn from both his past triumphs and past mistakes, and emphasizes that all successes are ultimately a team effort.
