During her undergraduate years, she gained invaluable experience, serving as a research assistant at Claflin University, a research intern at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), and a summer scholar at the Novartis Institutes for Biomedical Research (NIBR). These experiences solidified her passion for research and the profound impact it could have on the world. Her extensive knowledge and dedication have resulted in the publication of two peer-reviewed papers, with visuals of protein interactions featured on the cover of the MBoC Journal, and her contribution to a protocol publication titled 'A Co-purification Method for Efficient Production and Src Kinase-mediated Phosphorylation of Aplysia Cortactin.'
Beyond her professional commitments, Ms. Brown actively volunteers in her community, lending her time to organizations such as Opening Minds Through Art (OMA) at Westminster Village, the Purdue University Interdisciplinary Life Science Program (PULSe) Science in Schools Program, and the Greater Faith Child Development Center.
