A proud graduate of Georgetown University School of Medicine, Dr. Pearson has accumulated over 30 years of experience since completing an internship in critical care medicine at the Georgetown University Hospital. He also holds a bachelor's degree in biological sciences from the University of Maryland, and he excelled during his residency in anesthesiology, also at Georgetown University Hospital; notably, Dr. Pearson was recognized as a fellow of the same institution, receiving valuable training in obstetric anesthesiology and chronic pain management.
Dr. Pearson's patients prosper due to his extensive experience and compassionate advocacy; furthermore, his business thrives under his executive leadership, bolstered by the completion of a Master of Business Administration from Saunders College of Business at the Rochester Institute of Technology, from which he graduated cum laude. Additionally, Dr. Pearson holds distinct credentials that include board certification from both the American Board of Anesthesiology and the American Board of Pain Medicine.
Enthusiastic about contributing to the success of others, Dr. Pearson taught from 1992 to 1993 at the rank of instructor at Georgetown University School of Medicine, offering a course in chronic interventional pain management and anesthesiology. He is also gratified to have been recognized with notable accolades that mark his many contributions to students and patients, including being named to several Top Doc compilations such as Leading Physicians of the World in 2020. Additionally, Dr. Pearson accepted consecutive Top Doc in Interventional Pain Medicine designations from 2016 through 2023.
Dr. Pearson maintains a broad network of colleagues and associates through sustained memberships in the American Medical Association, the American Academy of Pain Medicine, the North American Neuromodulation Society, and the American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians. He was also honored to be a diplomate of the American Board of Anesthesiology and the American Board of Pain Medicine, and Dr. Pearson holds affiliations with the American Telemedicine Association as well as the International Pain and Spine Intervention Society.
Dr. Pearson cites his success in becoming a physician as his most significant career achievement thus far, and he is gratified to have fulfilled his father's vision in that regard. Dr. Pearson is also seeing through a lifelong personal intention of becoming a doctor and desire to satisfy his sense of purpose in helping others, and he specifically credits his father's influence and motivation regarding higher education. Moreover, Dr. Pearson attributes his realization of a distinguished career in health care to his mother's moral and ethical guidance, which have been unique contributors to his personal and professional advancement thus far.
