Prior to his current role, Mr. Ward began his career working with the Court of Special Appeals in Maryland and was an associate with Steel Hector and Davis LLP from 1999 to 2003. He was an associate for Isicoff Ragatz & Koenigsberg between 2003 and 2004 and subsequently an attorney with Ward Kim LLP from 2005 to 2010. He continued his career as a partner with Ward Kim Vaughan and Lerner LLP from 2010 until 2012. Also dedicated to civil advocacy, he supports various churches and local nonprofit organizations helping disenfranchised children throughout South Florida and throughout Latin and South America. After his father and sister died from leukemia, he was named Man of the Year in 2019 by the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society's South Florida Chapter for his teams' efforts to raise more than $500,000 for the society, making their chapter the third most productive in the nation for fundraising.
Prior to embarking on his professional journey, Mr. Ward earned a Bachelor of Science in history from the University of Maryland in 1994. He then attained a Juris Doctor from the University of Baltimore School of Law in 1998. During law school, Mr. Ward received numerous awards including book awards in law & economics and constitutional criminal procedure. He was honored with the Law Faculty Award as the most Outstanding Graduate of the Class of 1998 at the University of Baltimore School of Law. In addition to his academic credentials, Mr. Ward is licensed to practice law in the states of Florida, Maryland and Massachusetts. Furthermore, he is licensed by the United States District Court for the Middle, Northern and Southern Districts of Florida.
Within the coming years, Mr. Ward intends to double the company's size, eventually increasing it 10 times over the next 10 years. He aspires to develop his team to be their best, utilizing his expertise to assist young entrepreneurs in his community. Working to serve immigrant populations and Spanish-speaking communities throughout the country, he also will continue to give back to charitable organizations and support his community. In all of his endeavors, Mr. Ward intends to remain true to his Christian faith, which has served as an invaluable guide throughout his vocational journey.
