Subsequently, Dr. McMahon enrolled at Loma Linda University and in 2013 earned a Doctor of Nursing Practice, also with honors, before completing a post-master's certificate in adult-gerontology primary care from Azusa Pacific University in 2021.
To better serve her diverse patient population, Dr. McMahon has also pursued critical industry certifications, including the certified medical-surgical nurse designation as sanctioned by the Medical-Surgical Nursing Certification Board. She was also granted oncology certified nurse credentials by the Oncology Nursing Certification Corporation, which she maintains through 2027, and Dr. McMahon is gratified to hold adult-gerontology primary care nurse practitioner status through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners Certification Board.
