HELLERTOWN, PA, October 10, 2023 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Sarah K. Norman has been included in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.
As the District Executive of the Transatlantic Council of the Boy Scouts of America for the past two years, Ms. Norman distinguished herself by establishing a long-term camp near Nairobi, Kenya, that caters to Scouts, Scouters and their families semi-annually. Bearing a wealth of expertise in budgeting, event preparation, and working with U.S. embassies and international schools, her primary objective both in life and her career has been to serve others. Prior to joining the Transatlantic Council, Ms. Norman co-owned a consulting firm for a decade. She is also a past president of the American Women of the Eastern Province and is a member of Daughters of the American Revolution and the National Society of the Children of the American Revolution.
Ms. Norman obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2004 and subsequently earned a Master of Science in Public Policy and Management from the University of London in 2014. Throughout the course of her subsequent career, she is particularly proud to have achieved such accolades as the W.D. Boyce Award, District Award of Merit, and a Growth Award in 2022.
In accounting for her success, Ms. Norman largely credits her unwavering commitment to others – even before joining the Boy Scouts organization, her aspirations centered on making a positive impact on individuals and communities. Rather than striving for personal gain, her priorities have always resided in contributing to the greater good. Within the next five years, Ms. Norman aims to become a Senior District Executive with the Transatlantic Council, one of the geographically largest scouting councils in Boy Scouts of America.
In her free time, Ms. Norman enjoys spending time with her family, sailing, kayaking, hiking, cycling, and reading.
