Additionally, he is the owner of McGrew Warehouse, which offers short- and long-term storage, cross-docking, and transloading services, McGrew Equipment Rental and Leasing LLC, which is an equipment rental company as well as a second registered trucking company, McGrew Real Estate LLC, as well as McGrew Holdings LLC. Previously Mr. McGrew gained valuable knowledge in the field of transportation from Cannonball Express LLC, a leading company in the LTL industry. While there, Mr. McGrew worked as a logistics leader, back up dispatcher,and in customer service and customer billing.
Dedicated to his country, Mr. McGrew has also served in the military. Mr. McGrew spent 5 years in the active Army, stationed at Fort Riley Kansas as a Cannon Crew Member for 3 years and the last 2 as the unit Nuclear, Biological, and Nuclear NCO. After active duty, Mr. McGrew spent 2 years in the Nebraska National Guard as a Helicopter Electrician. In 2012, Mr. McGrew once again felt the need to serve his country and joined the Army Reserves in Nebraska where he spent 10 more years. Mr. McGrew deployed in 2014 to Afghanistan, Kuwait and Iraq. In 2022, Mr. McGrew was honored to be awarded a Meritorious Service Medal for his deployment to Afghanistan, details of which are classified.
Mr. McGrew and his companies have been recognized several times by other organizations for their continued outstanding body of work, most notably they were recognized by Total Quality Logistics in 2021 for being one of their top carriers, as well as the Omaha Carrier of the Year Award in 2022.
While his career has been filled with highlights, Mr. McGrew takes the most pride in establishing and growing a company from the ground up with the help of his family. Looking ahead, he intends to experience his career's continued growth and success. Ultimately, Mr. McGrew aims to open another two branches of McGrew Trucking LLC before he passes all of his companies down in an official capacity to his two sons.
