Hesitant to purchase the retail store when the previous owners put Watson's Menswear up for sale, Ms. Eberly's husband convinced her that they should invest in the business. Despite not having a background in the industry, she accepted the challenge, and their store continues to flourish.
Leveraging her expertise, Ms. Eberly is a former employee of KPMG in Boston who served as a knowledge manager from 1999 to 2009. She subsequently found success as the owner of 1st Scoop LLC, in Orleans, Massachusetts, between 2009 and 2015, providing clients with expert consulting in brand management, website traffic growth, and other business services.
Ms. Eberly was a founding member of the Mustang Club of America, recognized as the world's largest organization of Mustang enthusiasts. She attended nursing school and then changed to hospital administration at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. She boasts 25 years as a cake decorator and cake design teacher, 20+ years as an artist-painter, and 24 years as a Realtor in Ft. Lauderdale, FL.
As a testament to Ms. Eberly's dedication to maintaining a strong presence and positive reputation, Watson's Menswear has consistently been recognized as the Best of Cape Cod and with the coveted People's Choice Award.
