Mr. Ogedegbe has earned distinction as the founder of Quincy Labs, an innovative company for decentralized computing. Since 2018, he has focused his efforts on providing and establishing new standards of performance, security and accessibility in decentralized finance, security auditing and scalability protocols. Additionally, he is the co-founder, chief executive officer and head of macro research for Surot Capital, a leading research and investment firm focused on next-generation technologies. In this capacity, he leads his team in conducting strategic analyses to offer insights into the trends that impact the technology sector.
Prior to establishing his company, Mr. Ogedegbe began his career as a PC technician for Circuit City in 2007 and then worked for Apple in 2008. He was at the forefront of the mobile revolution during a transformative time for the company. He provided expertise and support for Apple's mobile and desktop products, including iOS and Mac OS X devices, helping define the customer experience
Following this time, he became a system administrator for Rutgers University in 2011 and took on the role of system administrator for Liberty Realty in 2014. The next year, he was a DevOps engineer for the San Francisco 49ers/Venuenext (now Shift4 Payments), a Silicon Valley start-up born out of the SF 49ers, at its NYC branch, where they implemented spatial computing at Levi's stadium.
In 2016, Mr. Ogedegbe become a DevOps and platform engineer for Envrmnt by Verizon Labs in 2016 (longer emphasis needed here). During his time here he worked on high fidelity Nvidia and AMD GPU Clusters for deploying applications and models for XR AR VR MR ER Computer Vision & Robotic Applications along with creating experiences for many Super Bowls, the Democratic and Republican Conventions, and autonomous driving along with robotics. He also worked on the creation of a real time edge platform to enable next generation experiences on mobile today using RTX graphics cards and the key ingredients for low latency compute and architecture for Edge Native Applications. Additionally, he worked exclusively with top industry leaders such as Amazon, NVIDIA and the Cloud Native Computing Foundation in accelerated computing to create new standards and architectures for the future of computing along with 5G Edge deployments of these services.
While developing his professional journey, Mr. Ogedegbe completed coursework in computer science and information technology at Kean University & then He subsequently attended Western Governors University in 2012. Eminently qualified in his field, he is a Cisco certified engineer, SUSE certified Linux administrator, an information technology operations specialist and ConsenSys certified Ethereum developer, among numerous other credentials.
Within the coming years, Mr. Ogedegbe intends to lead Quincy Labs into expanding its reach and impact. Their 1st venture being Angstrom AI with a focus on generative AI and Large Language Models. As it is a decentralized autonomous organization, he and his team seek to foster an inclusive environment that promotes growth, development and mentorship while building a new level of trust from users. This innovative approach to data management affords more ownership to users, encouraging effective collaboration.
Mr. Ogedegbe would like to mention and thank his mother (Esther Ogedegbe RN), father (Dr. Henry Ogedegbe, who is also in Who's Who) and his younger brother Stanley Ogedegbe. Mr. Ogedegbe would also like to mention that he was able to achieve all of this while having sickle cell anemia. He is hoping to be a good example to future children of dreams they can achieve.
