Leveraging more than two decades of excellence in intelligence and law enforcement, Dr. Green has earned distinction as the Director of Tactical Education and Professor of National Security Studies at Valley Forge Military College in Wayne, PA.
Dr. Green started his career in law enforcement in 1994 at the county level, eventually taking a position as a Task Force Agent with the Drug Enforcement Administration.
After leaving law enforcement, Dr. Green served honorably on active duty in the United States Army from 1998 to 2006. He started his military service as an all source intelligence analyst. Honored with entry into the Army's Green to Gold program, Dr. Green commissioned into the Infantry, eventually going back into the intelligence corps. Specializing in human intelligence and counter intelligence, Dr. Green held various positions, most notably; Human Intelligence Officer in Charge for Joint Special Operations Command, Afghanistan and the Commanding General's special detail for Human Intelligence and Counter Intelligence within detention facilities, Iraq.
Dr. Green contracted with the United States Army, and the Federal Bureau of Investigation after leaving active military service. With the Army, he trained deploying soldiers in human intelligence operations, counter intelligence, sensitive site exploitation, all source analysis, and managed doctrine development. Dr. Green trained analysts and agents in intelligence analysis and provided operations support while with the FBI.
In 2009, Dr. Green returned to federal service where he worked as a senior intelligence specialist for the Department of the Army, managing efforts for all source intelligence, human and counter intelligence, biometrics collection, social and cultural analysis and collection, weapons intelligence, and the countering of Remote Controlled Improvised Explosive Devices. Dr. Green ended his federal service as the Chief of the Global Operational Support and Threat (GOST) Branch; managing over 200 employees with a global footprint and a yearly budget of 70 to 85+ million dollars. While holding this position, The Pentagon (G38), Headquarters Department of the Army, selected Dr. Green to be the Director of Operations for Joint Urgent Operational Need (JUON) statement 576 within the Central Commands (CENTCOM) area of responsibility. This added Attack the Network operations for RCIEDs, IEDs, and commercial Unmanned System threats to his portfolio. During his time as the Chief of GOST, Dr. Green conducted operations in Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria, and the Horn of Africa. He was also hand selected as the advisor and subject matter expert for the Argentine military regarding tactics and techniques to counter potential threats to the G20 summit in perpetration for the arrival of the President of the United States.
In 2012, during his time with the Department of the Army, Dr. Green began working in higher education as an adjunct professor in Delaware and Maryland; teaching courses in social science, criminal justice, national security/terrorism, statistics and research methods at the bachelors, masters, and doctorate levels.
Among his many accomplishments, Dr. Green was also inducted into the Alpha Phi Sigma National Honor Society, the Epsilon Nu National Honor Society, the Gold Key International Honor Society, received the George C. Marshall Award, designated a Distinguished Military Graduate, and received the Knowlton Award for lifetime contribution to the Military Intelligence Corps.
Dr. Green holds an Associate degree in intelligence operations and an Associate degree in criminal justice, a Bachelor's degree in law and justice, a Masters degree in criminal behavior, and a Doctorate. Dr. Green is also a graduate of the REID interrogation course (interrogations and advanced interrogations; terrorism), a father of three (Olivia Hope, Alyssa Rose, and Kage Marciano), a 3rd degree black belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu under Fernando Yamasaki, and a former MMA fighter.
Within the coming years, Dr. Green intends to retire and continue teaching online college courses. Personally, he is looking forward to watching his children move through adulthood, marry his soon-to-be wife, Elizabeth, and travel the world with her by his side.
