Mr. Hyman is active in his community as a member of the Cochise County Chamber of Commerce. He volunteers with multiple local veterans' organizations in his downtime, including the Warrior Healing Center and the American Legion. He and his wife have also devoted their time and resources to improving the well-being of a veteran's family in Benson, Arizona, by visiting their home, conducting a thorough cleaning of the entire house, arranging for a caregiver to assist them, ensuring they received nutritious meals, and actively engaging the veteran husband in walking exercises. Mr. Hyman's passion for helping veterans and veteran's organizations stems from his late father, who honorably served his country for over 20 years in the U.S. Navy and an additional four years in the U.S. Army.
Mr. Hyman graduated from the International Academy of Design and Technology with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in visual communications in 2007. He subsequently received a second bachelor's degree from Sanford-Brown College in 2008. Mr. Hyman also received certification through Oracle as an implementation specialist and certification in its Responsys Marketing Platform Cloud Service in 2019.
In light of his accomplishments, Sanford-Brown College recognized Mr. Hyman as a Distinguished Educator of the Year in 2013.
