Outside of her work, she contributes to her community and those less fortunate through UNICEF, the World Health Organization and the American Medical Corps. Dr. Shaheen Khani Born and raised in very small village of Pakistan called Jhuddo. Despite numerous obstacles to getting education, she not only received education but always shined as a top student in her district due to her never-give-up nature as well as her father Imdad Ali and mother Sarwar Bano for their support and sacrifices.
An expert in her field, Dr. Shaheen Khani earned a Bachelor of Medicine Bachelor of Surgery from the Peoples university of Medical and Health Sciences for Women in Pakistan in 2002. Subsequently, she expanded upon her professional knowledge, earning the clinical research professional certification through the Society of Clinical Research Associates, several certificates through the CITI Program and LinkedIn, and a Master of Health Administration and an MBA from Texas Woman's University.
In light of her professional achievements, Dr. Shaheen Khani received a Top Enroller Award from Novartis Pharmaceutical and UBC in 2017. While her career has been filled with highlights, she takes the most pride in volunteering her medical expertise in various countries during times of crisis. Dr. Shaheen Khani is also a dedicated mother of two lovely children, a 20-year-old daughter and a 20-month-old son.
