She is responsible for designing innovative and experiential learning environments throughout her roles while providing ongoing support and constructive feedback for her learners, subject-matter-experts, team players, and more. Dr. Rauch also leverages her expertise to establish and execute policies and procedures for best practices in adult learning through academia. Among other professional objectives, she models for her fellow faculty members in their career growth through one-on-one training sessions.
Having joined Arizona Christian University in 2013, Dr. Rauch was tasked with designing and implementing the institution's very first online program. After 60 years of ACU's history, they were recognized for their Best Online Program listed as Number One in 2015-2019. During her present faculty appointments and instructional design work, Dr. Rauch moved to the opposite side of the country to take on the adventures of life in her career and has continually demonstrated evidence of being a team player and leader through contracted work that led her to serve Houston Christian University on a full-time basis. On this team, she has the privilege to apply her skills as a curriculum and instructional designer, and technologist working with diverse faculty and experts across our country. She also became recognized as a published author who released "Leaders and Their Abilities; Temperament to Resiliency" in 2015 and "Strategies in the Classroom; Are They Working?" in 2016 via ProQuest.
Dr. Rauch graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Education from Arizona State University in 2004. Continuing her education, she received a Master of Arts in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Phoenix in 2006, a Doctor of Education in Organizational Leadership and Higher Education from Grand Canyon University in 2015, and a Master of Science in Instructional Design and Technology from Purdue University Global in 2021.
Dr. Rauch attributes her success to her temperament and resiliency. Her father passed away when she was an infant, leaving her mother to raise her as a single parent. Once her mother remarried, intense trauma was forced into their lives, leaving Dr. Rauch an opportunity to use these sufferings as part of her resiliency to grow each day in adulthood. Despite their challenges, Dr. Rauch overcame many trials, earned an education, and found professional success. Although she has faced many struggles throughout her life, personally and professionally, she recognizes that these struggles made her who she is today. Dr. Rauch has raised 4 wise and brilliant children on her own over the last 7 years and has officially opened her heart to a very hopeful future with a strong and patient man named Larry Humphreys.
