Likewise, she has worked in a wide range of roles, serving as an engineering assistant with Gardner Zemke Company, a theater instructor with Hartnell College, a staff producer with Mark Taper Forum, an associate managing artistic director for The Western Stage, and as a facilities and special events manager for Chaminade College Preparatory. While her career has been filled with highlights, Ms. Bailey takes the most pride in her ability to thrive in whatever position she takes on. When she started at Los Alamos National Laboratory, she had no experience in real property leasing, but due to her steadfast dedication to excellence and her desire to learn, she gained expertise quickly and eventually established the Lab's programs. Another standout moment was developing the base lease template that they use across three organizations with which she is working. The cornerstone of her success lies with her mother, the first African-American personnel manager for AT&T in the 1960s, and her father, who was also a manager for AT&T.
