On behalf of her local community, Ms. Schmidt has enjoyed being active with organizations that give back. She has served as a pro bono marketer for the Taproot Foundation and volunteered at Ten Thousand Villages. Ms. Schmidt is also a member of the Georgetown University Alumni Association, where she has been active as a candidate interviewer.
Ms. Schmidt graduated from Georgetown University in 1991 with a Bachelor of Science in Russian and a double minor in German language and Russian studies. She also earned a Master of Science in integrated marketing communications from Northwestern University in 2018. Ms. Schmidt is well-qualified in her industry, having received certifications in marketing from the University of California, Berkeley, international business and finance from New York University, and social media marketing from Northwestern University. Moreover, she received credentials as a Six Sigma black belt from Villanova University.
