She received an honors-level Bachelor of Science in economics, with a minor in mathematics and statistics, from St. Xavier's College in Kolkata, India, in 2009, and a diploma in economics and a Master of Philosophy in economic research, with a specialization in financial econometrics, from the University of Cambridge in 2010 and 2011, respectively. For her commitment to excellence, she was honored with the Stevenson Prize for Academic Excellence in Economics from the University of Cambridge, and she is the third Indian to have won this award, after Nobel Laureate Amartya Sen and Sir Partha Dasgupta. Born in India, Ms. Khanna is a proud wife and mother of three children. She enjoys cooking, playing golf and spending quality time with her family.
