With more than two decades of excellence in television and media production, Mr. Gregory is a ten-time Regional Emmy Award winner who has earned distinction as a host, producer, and writer for tGo Productions LLC. Since 2017, he has focused his efforts on creating dynamic and authentic independent video production projects, specializing in creating non-scripted series programming that has a lasting impact on streaming and broadcast stations.
Mr. Gregory worked in virtually every broadcasting area, including radio, news, sports, travel, and entertainment television. He even traveled the country as a national headlining stand-up comic, performing in 47 states.
As host and executive producer for WLAE-TV in 2010, Mr. Gregory created and produced the award-winning travel series "GO Coast: Louisiana." From 2010 to 2016, he also hosted and co-produced "Outside The Huddle," the official New Orleans Saints magazine program for Cox Sports TV. Mr. Gregory then created the motoring series "Driven" for Cox Communications in 2018. During Driven's four seasons as host, writer, and producer, he took viewers on an unforgettable journey to some of the most iconic locations in the country while also providing insights into America's car culture.
From 2014 to 2018, Mr. Gregory also produced multi-platform content for New Orleans's PBS station, WYES-TV. During this time, he co-produced, edited and hosted the documentary, "The Battle Of New Orleans-A Meaningful Victory", and two national interactive Electronic Field Trips, produced in association with The National World War II Museum.
Among his many accolades in television production, Mr. Gregory has been nominated for over 40 regional Emmy Awards, most recently winning an Emmy Award for on-air hosting in 2022 and for the magazine program category in 2020. He also has received several Telly Awards for public interest and automotive programming for television. In addition, he is most proud of his work in 2005 on the storm preparedness documentary, "Vanishing Coast Vanishing Safety," which was released a month before Hurricane Katrina landed on the Gulf Coast. He received several messages from people who had seen it and knew what they needed to do to remain safe during the hurricane. That work was also honored with a Best Practices by the United States Department of Transportation in its Report to Congress in 2006.
To prepare for his professional journey, Mr. Gregory earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Northern Illinois University. Following this achievement, he attained a Master of Science in Education from the same institution in 1989. He is a valued member of the Press Club of New Orleans, from which he has also received several awards for Best On-Air Talent, Best Public Affairs Show, Best Sports Show, and other honors.
