Prior to her current positions, she gained valuable expertise in the field as a property manager for Optima Sonoran Village. Between 2015 and 2017, Ms. Ellis has maintained her responsibility for apartment homes and business suites in Optima Sonoran Village.
During the earliest years of her career, Ms. Ellis worked as a business manager with Alliance Residential Company, with which she increased occupancy and maintained a six percent minimum increase in resident retention during community takeovers and renovations. Although her career has been filled with highlights, she is especially proud of helping several associates obtain promotions through her own focus, training and experience. With Alliance, Ms. Ellis has also served on a team of business managers that trained assistant managers to advance within the field.
In order to remain aware of changes in the field, Ms. Ellis is affiliated with the Arizona Multihousing Association. A champion of her community, she contributes to those in need through fundraising for UMOM New Day Centers, which aims to end homelessness through innovative strategies and housing solutions, and Autism Speaks. For her professional excellence, she has been honored as the Assistant of the Year and the Manager of the Year. In 2015 and 2019, her team was also recognized as the Team of the Year. Looking toward the future, Ms. Ellis intends to transition into the real estate side of the field and possibly become a regional manager, as she is ready to accept a more challenging position.
