A Certified GIS Professional (GISP) with over 30 years of excellence in geospatial systems and services, Mrs. Provost has earned distinction as an advisor on geospatial integrations for Guidepoint. Since 2020, she has focused her efforts on providing professional guidance on the use and implementation of geospatial solutions.
Her over 20-year career at the City of Henderson has culminated as the Senior Utilities Business Analyst (GIS) for the Utilities Business Transformation Division. At Henderson her role is leading continuous process improvement initiatives for geospatial technologies, ETL software automation and third-party enterprise integrations developing programs and processes that enhance the City's business practices.
She has a dynamic GIS background; one that started extracting aircraft and weapons data for Nellis Air Force Base and then progressed to mapping transportation routes published in the Final Environmental Impact Statement for the storage of spent nuclear fuel at Yucca Mountain. A graduate of Alexander M. Patch American High School near Stuttgart, Germany, she returned to Heidelberg from the US to work and travel across Europe for several more years.
To prepare for her career, Mrs. Provost earned her Bachelor of Science in Information Technology from the University of Phoenix. She enhanced her degree with an Associate's Certificate in Business Analysis from George Washington University before earning a Duke Certification in Business Analysis. She also maintains a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt.
As a founding member of both Las Vegas Women in Business for Good and the Association of Women in Science (Nevada Chapter), she looks forward to giving back to the Las Vegas community through fundraising, mentorship, and the advancement of women in STEM. She also looks forward to having her own IT consultancy where she can continue turning challenges into opportunities for growth.
