While with the law firm, she tried 33 jury trials to verdict and two bench trials. She has also defended clients in over 100 mandatory arbitrations throughout Cook County, Illinois, and the surrounding counties. Additionally, Ms. Burkoth found success as a trial team coach for The John Marshall Law School (now the University of Illinois Chicago School of Law) from 2013 to 2016.
Ms. Burkoth prepared for her career by obtaining an undergraduate degree in English with a minor in legal studies from Illinois State University in 2009 and a Doctor of Jurisprudence from the University of Illinois Chicago School of Law in 2012.
