Before joining IMMI, he was employed by Aunt Millie's Bakeries in Fort Wayne, Indiana, as a senior network administrator from 2006 to 2007 and as the director of enterprise technology from 2007 to 2014. Mr. Braden also found success as an information systems integrator at Partners 1st Federal Credit Union in Fort Wayne between 2001 and 2006.
In addition to his primary career objectives, Mr. Braden authored an article via LinkedIn Publishing in 2019 titled 'Implementation of a Software-Defined Wide Area Network for Multi-Cloud Environments.'
Active in his local community, Mr. Braden has been volunteering to support several Westfield High School programs since 2020. He is also engaged in the Real Men Wear Pink campaign through the American Cancer Society.
Having honorably served his country, Mr. Braden was a first lieutenant and platoon leader in the U.S. Army National Guard between 1996 and 2006. He was assigned to the 76th Infantry Brigade, 38th Infantry Division.
Mr. Braden is a 1990 graduate of DePauw University, having earned a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish and international business. Continuing his studies, he completed coursework in information technology and certification courses at Unitek College in 2015, followed by a Master of Science in information technology management from the college of information technology at Western Governors University in 2019. Additionally, Mr. Braden has completed approximately two dozen certifications in his field through Cisco, Microsoft, Apple, and other organizations between 2008 and 2021. He is pursuing a postgraduate course in executive leadership at Harvard University to enhance his profession further. He also plans to garner a doctorate in information technology management, beginning in the spring of 2024.
As a prominent member of his business community, Mr. Braden is affiliated with the IEEE Computer Society, the Association of Computing Professionals, the Association for Computing Machinery, and, among others, the Society for Information Management.
As a testament to his success, Mr. Braden has been recognized with several accolades, including two prestigious Chief Technology Officer of the Year Awards in 2019 and 2020 from the Indianapolis Business Journal and TechPoint. He was also decorated with a U.S. Army Achievement Medal and two U.S. Army Achievement Awards.
