Leveraging more than two decades of excellence in cardiac sonography pared with compassion and kindness for elderly individuals, Ms. Taneva has earned distinction as the owner and lead cardiac sonographer for Core Diagnostic Imaging, an accredited echocardiography quality improvement clinic. Since 2013, she has focused her efforts on providing ultrasound services for her patients while also handling the scheduling, payroll and motivational speaking for her employees. She also manages two retirement homes, Bramalea and Chartwell, that provide outpatient services for older patients, including ultrasound testing.
Prior to her current leadership role, Ms. Taneva served as a certified cardiac sonographer with Adventist Bolingbrook Hospital in 2006, Kawartha Cardiology in 2010 and Trillium Hospital in 2011. While in the latter role, she also worked in a similar capacity for Aviva Medical Diagnostics and Subspecialist Clinic Inc. until 2013. Among her professional accomplishments, she was voted Employee of the Month by Adventist Bolingbrook Hospital in 2007.
To prepare for her career in healthcare, Ms. Taneva earned a bachelor's degree in nursing from the College of DuPage in 1998. Following this achievement, she completed a program in cardiac diagnostic medical sonography from the Edwards Cardiovascular Institute in 2006. Well-qualified in her field, she is a registered nurse and registered cardiac diagnostic medical sonographer. Additionally, she holds a certification from the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario.
Within the coming years, Ms. Taneva intends to continue honing her skills, becoming a better caregiver as well as a kinder and more authentic person over time. As part of this goal, she practices mindfulness to remain compassionate to each patient, their needs and their stories.
