Before establishing her company, Ms. Gennaro worked as the first female account manager for Custom Blinders an animal feed company, then ActivStyle in Nebraska and Iowa in 2001. The owner and chief executive officer of NewStyle Medical Supplier, Inc. from 2003 until 2017, building the company from the ground up and expanding it into a 7500-square-foot office and warehouse. She also owned Nouvau, a pageant shop, for 10 years.
Among her professional accomplishments, Ms. Gennaro was honored with the title of Admiral in the Great Navy of the State of Nebraska, presented to her by Nebraska Governor Michael Own Johanns. She also was named Businesswoman of the Year and won Mrs. Nebraska America in 1997.
Within the coming years, Ms. Gennaro is considering running for state legislature after she ensures the smooth and profitable operation of her home health business. Having moved to South Dakota to provide care for her parents after caring for her husband's parents, she was inspired to embark on this entrepreneurial journey in the home health sector.
