SILVER SPRING, MD, November 11, 2023 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Tyler Pullens has been included in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Drawing on years of experience in finance, Mr. Pullens presently excels as a Team Lead for QinetiQ US. As a federal financial management consultant, he supports the U.S. Transportation Security Administration's Financial Management Division, specifically its Travel Policy Support Services team. In this role, he interprets financial reports, led the agency's centrally billed accounts component, leads the agency's Conferences program, authors official deliverable procedures, and oversees the mid-year and annual review process for QinetiQ US staff. Mr. Pullens was selected as a 2022-2023 QinetiQ US Leadership Exploration and Development (LEAD) Fellow, an internal, competitive company initiative which selects employees who have demonstrated high performance and notable leadership potential and exhibit remarkable character, consistent aspiration and keen abilities. Subsequent to participating in the LEAD program, Mr. Pullens was recognized as a role model within the company's National & Global Security Solutions (NGSS) business unit.
Prior to obtaining his current role, Mr. Pullens worked as a paralegal specializing in investment management for K&L Gates LLP, through which he honed his knowledge of finance and accounting. Alongside this work, he contributed to his community as a communications specialist for the Duke Ellington School of the Arts. Similarly, Mr. Pullens maintains alignment with the Sigma Tau Delta International English Honor Society and contributed to his university's community as the Vice President of Judicial Affairs for Marymount University's Student Government Association and as President of the Marymount University Honors Program.
Mr. Pullens earned a Bachelor of Arts in English from Marymount University in 2010. In recognition of his outstanding collegiate career, he was honored in Who's Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges. While his professional career has been filled with highlights, he takes the most pride in being selected for QinetiQ's Leadership Exploration and Development Program, a highly competitive program for which only seven percent of employees are selected to apply and 20 total are selected to participate. The cornerstone of his success lies in his upbringing, particularly the guidance of his mother Juanita Pullens, and those in the workplace who recognized his potential. Looking forward, Mr. Pullens aims to become a program manager at QinetiQ and eventually establish his own consultancy.
