Mr. Handa came to Paytient from Zitti Inc. as a director of credit and risk in 2022. He also served as the founder and director of Main Street @ Clinton, a social enterprise, from 2018 to 2021, specializing in credit risk management, asset management, retail enterprises, and concept foods. Among other noteworthy roles, Mr. Handa was the assistant vice president at EXL, involved in marketing analytics solutions and campaign management, and spent a decade with American Express, beginning as an assistant manager in 2008 and rising to the roles of manager and senior manager until 2017. During an earlier stage of his career, Mr. Handa was a senior consultant and team leader for Genpact in his native India from 2005 to 2008.
Aside from his full-time responsibilities, Mr. Handa has been an advisor for Peach and Zitti Inc. since 2023, two emerging start-up companies. In this capacity, he provides strategic guidance and mentorship on credit risk, business analytics, and growth. Mr. Handa formerly served as an advisor for QuaEra Insights, a data science and analytics firm, from 2019 to 2021.
As part of his continued commitments to charity work, Mr. Handa is active with his family's foundation, which educates underprivileged individuals.
Highly educated, Mr. Handa earned a Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts in economics from Delhi University and Delhi School of Economics, respectively.
