A leader in the health care field for more than 20 years, Mr. Rodriguez has developed an innate desire to serve others. Having previously served in the U.S. Army actively from 1995 to 1998, he quickly realized that health care would be an excellent fit for him professionally because it would allow him to continue serving and protecting those who could not do so for themselves. Mr. Rodriguez notably began working in the nutritional sector due to his education and experience in the culinary field before transitioning into the administrative side of health care. Before being recruited to Hampton Manor of Merritt Island, he was an administrator, executive director, and senior executive director at Veritas Senior Living between 2017 and 2022. He also held leadership positions with Solaris Health Network, the Place ALF Group, and other health organizations. Additionally, Mr. Rodriguez was the culinary director and executive chef at MMI Hotel Group from 2012 to 2013.
Mr. Rodriguez proudly gives back to his community through various initiatives. He has served as a cubmaster for Pack 343 for the Boy Scouts of America. He has also been affiliated with the Bella Vita Property Owners Association as the organization's president, the Cocoa Beach Regional Chamber of Commerce as a board director and sits on the Military Affairs Committee in the Space Coast of Florida.
In preparation for his career, Mr. Rodriguez received an Associate of Arts and Sciences in culinary arts from Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts in 2008. He subsequently received an associate degree in health care administration and management from the University of South Florida in 2015 and a Bachelor of Business Administration and Management from Western Governors University. Additionally, Mr. Rodriguez garnered designations in computer-aided drafting through Trumbull County J.V.S., as an executive chef through the American Culinary Federation, as an assisted living administrator through the Florida Department of Elder Affairs, and as a food safety manager through the National Registry of Food Safety Professionals. He is pursuing a Master of Business Administration in health care administration and management from Colorado Technical University and has more plans to pursue additional credentials.
Recognized for his contributions to the U.S. Army, Mr. Rodriguez was decorated with an NCO Professional Development Ribbon, two Army Commendation Medals, an Army Good Conduct Medal, and three Army Achievement Medals. He credits many of his achievements to his wife for serving as a support system, helping him realize his worth, and guiding him to strive for excellence in all his endeavors.
