Drawing on over two decades of expertise in the field of forestry, Mr. Kane specializes in natural resource management and timber harvest operations. Since 2019, he has found much success as the forester and founder of Forest Integrity Timber Services. In this capacity, he creates forest management plans for private landowners, assists with cutting trees and subsequent clean up, and helps landowners maintain healthy and productive woods on their properties by assessing each tree, analyzing the owners' intent for the property and removing the necessary timber. Prior to this role, he was active as the head of procurement at Johnson Brothers Lumber Company. Mr. Kane initially began his career working as a procurement forester at Wagner Millwork Inc.
Before venturing onto his vocational path, Mr. Kane pursued an education at St. Lawrence University, where he obtained a Bachelor of Science in environmental geology in 1999. He continued his academic efforts at the State University of New York College of Environmental Science and Forestry, earning a Master of Professional Studies in forestry in 2003. As a commitment to his field, he is a New York State DEC cooperating forester, and he is certified as a New York City watershed-qualified forester. Additionally, he has been active with several industry-related organizations, including the Society of American Foresters and the Association of Consulting Foresters. Likewise dedicated to civic advocacy, Mr. Kane is a Freemason and contributes to the Knights Templar Eye Foundation and to the local church in his community.
